T-minus 207 days.
Yep, that’s right. The clock has turned back. Yes, we’ve had to postpone the wedding. Thank you, Coronavirus. (Insert big middle finger here.)
Deciding to postpone the wedding wasn’t an easy decision. In fact, it was one we didn’t want to make at all, but when we saw how this was affecting others, we decided it was best. We have a number of older guests that will be in attendance, and it just wouldn’t be the same without them.
I’ve cried in the shower a lot. Probably because I wanted to blame myself. Was this karma? Was this a punishment from something I said to someone 10 years ago in a heated argument? It took some soul searching to realize that this wasn’t my fault. This is happening to bride’s all over the country right now, and I’m not alone. At least all the planning is done. Everything down to the vows. I guess we will just shift into saving mode for now.
What I have taken away from this, is that when our wedding day does arrive, everyone will be ready to party. It’s going to be amazing!
…until next time.
