Coronavirus Quarantine - Day 13

Homeschooling: Day 1

It took a little bit of time to get things set up, but after that, RJ was off to the races. He needs THREE classes in order to get his HS diploma, so we are trying really hard to make that happen. Even though he only needs three classes, he is required to take five, so they’re filling them in with a few others.

MONDAY & WEDNESDAY: English, Government, and Art.

TUESDAY & THURSDAY: Economics and PE

This will be my first time experimenting with homeschooling, as I’m sure most of the rest of the world is new to this, but RJ has done this before, so he’s not worried. He’s annoyed that he has to do it, in general, but what 19-year-old isn’t annoyed about having to do school, right? Especially when your mom forces you to do it. Honestly, if it was up to him, I think he would just stop and get a job. As his parent, and the person responsible for him, I’m forcing him to graduate. No exceptions.

Stay tuned. Hopefully we are still on a good track at the end of the week.

…until next time.
