Here we are, week 3 already. We’ve said goodbye to The Hoff, and Michael Bolton. Who will be next? Enter…The Peanut Gallery.
- Jennifer Grey - She’s so cute, and looks like a fun person. She’s hard working, and very determined to make what she does perfect. Her facial expressions make me laugh, because I know she’s out there having the time of her life. She’s got great posture, quick feet, and a great sense of humor. As always, great chemistry. Go Jennifer! See you next week.
- Florence Henderson - I know some people that hold The Sound of Music very close to their heart, my mother being one of those people, so watching this performance brought tears to my eyes. Although I wasn’t overly impressed because of it’s simplicity, and I saw a few fumbles, she reminded me of the little ballerina on top of the music/jewelry box I had as a kid. That in itself, was just fine with me.
- Kurt Warner - The Fox Trot. I love that dance, and for a tree, he does it well. I hit the rewind button the DVR to see exactly what Bruno was talking about when he said you almost dropped her, but I didn’t see it. What is he talking about? I believe when the wedding vows are renewed for him and his wife, there’ll be much more dancing than there was the last time. :-)
- Margaret Cho - “Heavy in the legs” is exactly what I was thinking. She was wild, her arms were uncontrollable, and she missed steps. She has a great attitude, and although their scores weren’t terrific, I’m not certain she’ll be the one to go this week.
- Audrina Patridge - Graceful once again. She has the perfect stature for this type of dance, and she knows it. If I didn’t know better, I’d say she had danced before. L.O.L. @ Tony’s waxing.
- Bristol Palin - They are so gonna get it on! Three dances in, and she’s still stiff. Loosen up girl! :-)
- Brandy - Some of her moves weren’t as “sharp” as I think they should have been, but the judges seemed pleased.
- Kyle Massey - Did she really say Who are the Eagles?? Oh my! This kid is doing better than I expected him to do, so to say I’m pleased would be an understatement. He’s all right.
- Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino - *rolling eyes* right off the bat. This dance had me LAUGHING OUT LOUD. She tries so hard, but with something like that to work with, there’s just no hope. If he had a little more grace, this would have been a much better dance. The dance was great, just not with him in it. And please, do NOT encourage him to show his abs. Please. I beg you!
- Rick Fox - He spent waaaay too much time focusing on what his next move was supposed to be, therefore he seemed a bit odd at times, in my opinion, but…I thought he did juuuuuust fine.
As always, please remember that these are my opinions. If you don’t agree with them, don’t leave me nasty comments. I’m always up for a good debate, but no need to be nasty.
I thought Audrina totally stole the show this week. Jennifer was also great.
ReplyDeleteI was slightly underwhelmed by the majority of the performances, but there were some good ones. Florence Henderson's dancing still has room for improve ment, but she was still just as charming as ever. It's nice that the judges actually seem to take her seriously, despite her age. She gets a kind of respect from the judges that Cloris Leachman and Buzz Aldrin didn't get.
I was nice to Bristol on Week 1, but now I'm really getting bored with her.
As for the Sitch - BOO! Go home! I cannot believe how ridiculously generous the judges are being to him. And in what world is "Boom Boom Pow" a song for the foxtrot?
Long live Baby!!!
