You know that old drummer from Nirvana? Or the lead singer from Foo Fighters?

Yep. I’m talking about Dave Grohl.

Honestly, I have no idea who the guy is. I never listened to any song by Nirvana (unless it was playing in the store as I was buying the new George Strait CD when I was 15). I know of ONE song they ever did, only because teenage boys at the time, thought it was the coolest song ever to be written. Ever.

It wasn’t.

I also do not know one song by the Foo Fighters. Never even knew it was a band until I accidentally turned the channel to an awards show a few years ago and saw them performing. I thought “Foo Fighters” were a duo team of wrestlers willing to take on “The Rock”.

Today, I learned who he is. And even though I’ve seen this picture, I’d probably still walk right past him, not giving a second glance to a very talented and amazing person.
