A few days ago, I got a message on my computer saying Battery not operating at full capacity. Replace battery soon. I started to panic a bit, but realized it was just a battery issue and if it needed to be replaced, then it needed to be replaced. Big deal. I’ve had to do that with cell phones in the past. Whatever. And I shrugged it off.
Last night when I closed my laptop lid, I unplugged the computer from the wall. This, I never do. It’s always plugged it. My computer is never powered off. I always have active windows open. It’s a bit of an annoyance when someone uses my computer and starts closing tabs/windows.
Turned it on this evening when I got home and no warning message. Awesome. I guess I’ll just keep an eye on it.
Anyone have this problem?
Talk soon-
Actually it is better to unplug your computer and use the battery up once in a while before charging. Of course if you have never done it, It may not be a good time to start.
ReplyDeleteSince I've been home, I've let the battery run down and recharge. I'm on round two. I'll turn off and unplug when I go to bed. We'll see how it goes the next few days. :-)
